Stand inside Box A with your back to the targets. Place both toes against the rear fault line. Hold both wrists above their respective shoulders. Start with a loaded and holstered handgun.

    Engage T1, T2, and T3 with only two rounds on each target.

    Complete the mandatory reload.

Find the first break in the run.

Do not treat the final time as one problem. Review the run in four parts and fix the first part that loses control.

Turn to the first sight picture

Check when your eyes reach the first target and when the gun becomes ready to fire. A fast turn has no value if the first shot has no visual confirmation.

Transitions through the first array

Listen for uneven gaps and watch where the gun stops. A wide correction after a target usually points to an exit problem on the prior target.

The mandatory reload

Measure the gap from shot six to shot seven. Then check whether the reload also changed your posture, grip, or visual focus.

Points on the second pass

Compare the first six hits with the final six. If the second pass loses more points, the run likely exceeded the pace you could keep after the reload.
