Overview

GM Path is an iPhone app and website for USPSA competitors. The app imports public match information, stores detailed performance history on the user's iPhone, and provides optional club alerts and rival challenges.

GM Path does not sell personal information. GM Path does not use personal information for third-party advertising.

Information stored on your iPhone

The app can store the following information on your device:

  • Your display name and USPSA number.
  • Your watched clubs and saved rivals.
  • Imported match, roster, stage, score, and performance data.
  • Your app settings, goals, and import progress.
  • PractiScore website data needed to complete an import.

Detailed match history and stage scores stay in local app storage. You can remove individual watched clubs and saved records in the app. Removing the app removes its local data from that iPhone, subject to normal device backups managed by you or Apple.

Information sent to GM Path services

GM Path creates an anonymous technical session when an online feature needs it. The service does not require your email address or password.

For optional club notifications, GM Path can process:

  • An anonymous account identifier and app installation identifier.
  • Your Apple Push Notification service device token.
  • The identifiers of clubs that you choose to watch.
  • Notification preferences, delivery status, and error information.
  • Public match schedule and result-status information for watched clubs.

The notification service does not receive your name, email address, USPSA number, detailed scores, or performance history.

When you use optional rival challenges, GM Path can process:

  • Your display name and USPSA number.
  • Challenge invitations, responses, blocks, and reports.
  • A selected match name, date, division, placements, percentages, match points, disqualification status, and challenge outcome.

Rival challenges do not upload complete match history or stage-level scores.

Sources and service providers

  • PractiScore provides public club, match, roster, and result pages that the app reads when you start an import.
  • Supabase hosts the anonymous online session, notification records, shared club metadata, community membership, and rival challenge data.
  • Apple provides TestFlight, device backups, and push notification delivery. Apple handles that information under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • The website host can process standard request information such as an IP address, requested page, device or browser type, and request time for delivery, security, and operational logs.
  • Classifier guide pages can show privacy-enhanced YouTube videos after you choose to load or play them. YouTube then handles the request under its own terms and privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

GM Path keeps service information only while it is reasonably needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the applicable feature, comply with law, or resolve abuse reports. Public source metadata can remain in the service after the original public page changes.

Turn off notifications or remove watched clubs to stop future club alert activity. To request deletion of server-side information, emailjerry@vantaomega.com. Include your USPSA number only if the request concerns a rival profile. Do not send sensitive information.

Children

GM Path is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe that a child submitted personal information to GM Path services.

Changes

GM Path can update this policy when the product or its data practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
